Our client is seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee operations, drive business development, and advocate for structural change that improves women's health outcomes. As a key leader, you'll foster a positive, inclusive work culture while ensuring the team is able to maintain the vital service they provide for women across the Illawarra region.

This is an onsite role, requiring presence across two locations in Warilla and North Wollongong.

What You'll Do:

* Lead the implementation of a five-year strategic plan and drive operational excellence.
* Oversee financial management and grow additional revenue streams to sustain and grow our impact.
* Foster a supportive workplace culture, ensuring staff engagement, retention, and well-being.
* Advocate for policy change and funding to support women's health and social justice initiatives.
* Build strong relationships with the community, community organisations, political representatives and funding bodies.
* Be present and available to staff, the community, and stakeholders across both Warilla and North Wollongong sites.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven leadership experience (5+ years) in the non-profit or NGO sector.
* Strong business and financial acumen to manage budgets and drive growth.
* People-focused leader who can cultivate a positive and engaged workplace culture.
* Experience in advocacy, policy, and stakeholder engagement.
* A strategic thinker and problem-solver with a deep commitment to social change.
* A feminist leader passionate about improving women's health and well-being.
* Ability to work onsite across both Warilla and North Wollongong locations.
* Relevant post graduate qualifications in public health, social impact or business management.

Bonus points if you have:

* Fluency in a language other than English.
