Outlook Eye Specialists is a privately owned Ophthalmic medical practice with locations at Southport, Coolangatta and Robina. The practice is dedicated to providing personal and individualised care by our doctors in the treatment of eye conditions to achieve the best possible outcome for each patient.
This role is offered as a permanent part-time position, between 32-38 hours per week.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Assist the Ophthalmologists to carry out patient screening tests, obtain medical history and carry out minor procedures
* Maintain medical stock supply and manage sterile store
* Assist the Ophthalmologist in patient education, research and professional education sessions
* Supporting administration staff when required (answering of phones, making appointments, accepting payments)
* Maintenance of equipment
This role requires:
* An exceptional proactive personality willing to work as part of our professional medical team
* Flexibility in availability and the willingness and ability to work across all 3 practice locations
* Must have a driver's licence and the ability to travel to multiple locations across the Gold Coast
* Reliability, good time management and the ability to work under pressure
* Professional and immaculate personal presentation
* Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Interest and willingness to learn (experience not essential)
