**Retail Sales Consultant**
**THE ROLE**

We’re on the hunt for a Retail Sales Consultant who knows how to sell _with heart_ and hustle. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll be at the frontline of delivering unforgettable experiences - from welcoming tradies and renovators to inspiring first-time home stylers.
We are not a typical transactional retailer, we are a passionate, consultative, and service focussed business. Your role is to ensure our clients are delighted and excited about their experience with us, whilst achieving the team sales targets.
Reporting to the Store Manager, your day-to-day work will include but not limited to:
- Welcoming customers, answering their questions, and helping them find products that meet their needs.
- Explaining product features and benefits to help customers make purchasing decisions.
- Leading design consultations with clients specifying all items needed to complete their project.
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards and replenishing stock when needed.
- Some warehousing including receiving and dispatching of goods, packing orders (you need to able to comfortably lift 25kgs), stock takes and stock ordering. Maintaining warehouse and forklift receiving orders and some dispatching of goods. Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential.
- The creation of detailed and accurate quotations and sales orders.
- Point-of-sale duties, such as processing cash and card transactions.
- Meeting sales targets by proactively following up with clients to secure the sale.
**THE SKILL SET**
- Experience in retail sales and or related industries such as Tiles and Bathroomware will be highly regarded but not essential.
- A passion for design and or construction.
- The ability to instantly build rapport with customers and influence decision making.
- A genuine interest in helping people solve design problems.
- Able to actively listen and engage with people from different industries and backgrounds.
- Motivated to succeed by continually developing your industry knowledge so that you are a true expert in your field.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Competent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Comfortable working to set sales targets and achieving personal budgets.
