Head of Marketing and Customer Care

Port Melbourne, VIC - Full-time

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and dynamic customer and marketing leader to shape and execute our marketing and communications strategy along with leading a small front-line team to define and implement leading customer service experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of the evolving EV, energy, and technology markets, alongside strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and a data-driven mindset.

You will drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, reputation management, customer experience design through an integrated customer and marketing approach. Working across digital, content, PR, and go-to-market strategy, you will lead a small but highly effective team, collaborating across the business to position JET Charge as the leader in EV charging technology.

What are we looking for in our candidates?

* Proven experience in marketing and customer leadership, ideally in the electric vehicle, renewable energy, or technology sectors.
* A track record of executing successful marketing and communications strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
* Experience in brand management, demand generation, digital marketing, content creation, and public relations.
* Strong expertise in B2B and enterprise marketing, building relationships with corporate and government clients.
* Data-driven and results-focused, with experience in market research, campaign analytics, and performance tracking.
* Previous experience leading or working closely with front line teams to define and manage customer operations and experience goals.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for a wide range of stakeholders.
* Experience managing budgets, marketing partnerships, and external agencies.
* Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
* A proactive, collaborative, and hands-on leadership style, capable of managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy to support business growth, covering brand positioning, lead generation, and customer engagement.
* Strengthen JET Charge’s brand presence through clear, consistent messaging and impactful storytelling.
* Drive demand generation through targeted campaigns, digital marketing, SEO, and data-driven experimentation.
* Lead go-to-market strategies for new products and services, ensuring market adoption and positioning JET Charge as an industry leader.
* Own PR and communications, securing positive media coverage and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and key influencers.
* Manage and optimise digital channels, including website, social media, and content marketing, to enhance engagement and conversion.
* Manage and support Customer Care team to deliver on operational goals and strategic performance and capability goals defined in customer and marketing plans.
* Oversee market research and competitive analysis, using insights to refine strategy and messaging.
* Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are used efficiently and marketing spend delivers measurable ROI.
* Foster a high-performing marketing team, empowering them to execute with agility, creativity, and impact.
