Our client
A growing Aussie NDIS provider with a strong local presence. They are seeking a strong Finance Manager to take ownership of their finance team, as their 1st in charge. This role is managing a small team.
The role
Reporting into the GM, this is an excellent, broad role for a Finance Manager / Financial Controller who suits a SME environment.
* Responsible for the month end process of all entities including: month end journals posting, accounts classifications, credit card and expenses reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations as well as investigate and resolve any anomalies
* Prepare monthly management pack, including sales, variance analysis and commentary
* Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annually taxes, including GST, FBT, Income Tax and Transfer Pricing
* Support and manage the budgeting and 24‐month rolling forecasting process
* Prepare Cashflow reporting
* Drive the team in preparation of an accurate audit including consolidation of financial statements
* Leading Finance team through company transformation
* Support continuous business processes and systems improvement
* Implement internal controls policies and procedures and ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practice guidelines
* Manage a small finance team and establish a proactive and diligent culture
About you
* Qualified accountant (CPA/CA)
* Experienced Finance Manager - with experience across reporting, GL maintenance, and financial planning
* Is an exceptional communicator and has a natural flair in influencing stakeholders at all levels with strong interpersonal skills
