Role Description
This is a temporary remote role for a Personal Support Worker. The successful candidate will provide assistance with daily living tasks, ensure client safety, deliver in-home and personal support, facilitate community and social participation, and maintain clear, empathetic communication with individuals in need of care. The role involves creating meaningful connections and ensuring every interaction aligns with the organization's values of promoting dignity and inclusion.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Support Work and familiarity with providing care in various settings
* Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills to effectively engage with clients and their families
* Proficiency in Safeguarding practices to ensure clients' safety and wellbeing
* Basic Technical Support capabilities to manage digital tools and remote communication as needed for the role
* Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support
* Commitment to promoting client independence and inclusion
* Understanding of NDIS services is an advantage
