DMK Engineering, a respected and growing metal fabrication business based in Gillman, is seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our team.
This role is essential in supporting our qualified tradespeople and helping ensure jobs run smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will assist with a variety of workshop and site tasks, helping maintain workflow, preparing materials and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

About the role:
As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in keeping workshop operations running effectively. Your responsibilities will include assisting tradespeople, maintaining a safe and organised workspace, handling materials and supporting daily production activities.
What we are looking for:
* Current Australian driver's licence (essential)
* Forklift licence, white card and / or truck licence highly regarded
* Previous experience in a trade, workshop or manual labour role preferred but not essential.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
* Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
* Ability to perform manual handling and physically active work
Additional requirements:
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
* Ability to obtain a police clearance
