Job Title: Assistant in Nursing

About the Role:
* We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide care, comfort, and support to patients in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
* The successful candidate will work across diverse clinical settings, including Palliative Care, General Medicine, and Medical Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
2. Support the nursing team in the delivery of nursing care in an acute care environment as directed by the Registered Nurse.
3. Report all patient observations to the appropriate Registered Nurse.
Requirements:
* Evidence of current enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing degree, Diploma of Nursing or completion of Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care).
* Satisfactory completion of all 1st Year Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing subjects and successful completion of acute care placement.
* Demonstrated and effective communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and decisively in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
