Supporting seven iconic brands, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a superior workforce across the tropics.

Why Join the CaPTA Group?

* Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for your well-being.
* Participation in industry familiarization (famils) trips to experience the best of the region.
* Exclusive invitations to CaPTA Group events.
* Generous discounts on all CaPTA Group attractions.

The Role: Supporting Excellence in Every Department

Working directly with the People and Culture Manager, you will assist in coordinating services, policies, and programs that empower our staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Recruitment & Staffing: Coordinate logistics for the recruitment process across the CaPTA Group, from drafting impactful job ads to onboarding new talent.
* System Management: Act as a key user for Roubler, managing workforce data, performance metrics, and compliance reporting.
* Compliance & Relations: Assist with employment law compliance, including managing varied Modern Awards and maintaining legislative requirements.
* Training & Development: Support General Managers with employee orientation and the implementation of development programs.
* Safety & Wellness: Help manage employee safety, workers' rehabilitation processes, and wellness initiatives to ensure a healthy, high-performing workforce.
* Culture Advocacy: Promote a company culture that emphasises continuous improvement, quality, and the CaPTA values.

The Ideal Professional

* Technical Savvy: Proficiency in workforce management systems (experience with Roubler is highly advantageous) and the Microsoft 365 suite.
* Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to provide clear, concise advice to diverse teams.
* Adaptability: A flexible approach to problem-solving and a dedication to innovation in HR practices.
* Knowledge: An understanding of Australian Modern Awards and National Employment Standards (NES).
* Attitude: A positive, professional outlook with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Position Details:

* Employment Type: Full-Time
* Location: CaPTA Group Head Office, Cairns (with regular on-site visits)
* Start Date: Immediate
