About the Role
In this role, you will be the central point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, and production teams. You will manage enquiries, process orders, prepare quotes, and resolve issues—while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver accurate, competitive quotes in a timely manner
* Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person
* Process customer orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to meet delivery deadlines
* Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and professionally
* Provide clear pricing, product, and delivery information
* Prioritise urgent orders and coordinate fast turnarounds where required
* Support warehouse operations, including delivery scheduling and order fulfilment
* Monitor workflow and production plans to ensure smooth operations
About You
* Proven experience in a customer service role (manufacturing or industrial environment highly regarded)
* Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
* Ability to problem‐solve and manage conflict effectively
* Highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience using CRM systems and general business software
* Team‐oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
