Responsibilities will include
Statutory reporting requirements
Management reporting / reconciliations
General accounting services including complete and post monthly standing journals to general ledger
Supporting and assisting with Medicare and Department of Veterans Affairs reconciliations
Essential requirements
Minimum of three years accounting experience
Experience with computerised accounting systems embracing debtors and general ledger
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including an advanced working knowledge of Excel
Experience with complex reconciliations
It would be desirable to have accounting experienced in an aged care setting and / or experience using the Alayacare system.
