OverviewA leading FMCG organisation are currently seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join their high-performing central legal team.
The role will involve, providing expert legal advice across consumer law, marketing, and broader commercial matters.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance on consumer law, advertising standards, and commercial legal issues.Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with retailers, suppliers, and service providers.Ensuring adherence to consumer protection laws and marketing regulations—including digital and social media.Assisting in design and implementation of robust legal compliance systems.Managing litigation and regulatory matters.Identifying legal risks and keeping stakeholders informed with timely updates.Key RequirementsIdeally a minimum of 8+ years PQE in private practice or in-house roles, ideally with exposure to the FMCG sector.Previous experience in contract law, consumer law, and advertising regulation.A strategic thinker who balances legal risk with commercial outcomes.A trusted advisor who collaborates effectively across teams and delivers practical, business-focused solutions.In return the role offers the chance to join a high performance culture, career development and flexibility.To apply for this position, please click the 'Apply Now' button below.
