We are a warm and welcoming community, founded on Christian values of respect, practical help and hope. Our activities have grown beyond our initial location with partnerships and work developing in the outer southern and northern suburbs of Adelaide.
MarionLIFE is a trusted brand in the community, in the human services sector and with donors. With 40 years of service and growth, we recently purchased one of our main operational sites, securing it for ongoing use. We have a sound financial position, making modest surpluses to fund new initiatives, and have significant plans in place with potential for the future.
We now seek an inspiring leader with a genuine commitment and passion for our values and a demonstrated record of success, working in not-for-profit or community service organisations.
Reporting to the Board, the Executive Director will provide accurate, timely advice demonstrating integrity and accountability, to enable good governance.
The Executive Director will oversee operational and financial performance of our community services, ensuring policies and risk management are implemented, while achieving the goals of our service delivery, funding and reporting, set out in our Strategic Plan.
Showing high emotional intelligence, sound judgement and good time management, the Executive Director will work collaboratively with management, staff and volunteers to deliver services in a manner that demonstrates the values of the organisation.
Displaying excellent organisational skills, the Executive Director will attract, engage and retain professional staff and volunteers, inspiring and mentoring the team in a safe and respectful environment. Your knowledge of contemporary industry practice and focus on continuous improvement will ensure good results in a healthy work environment are maintained.
The Executive Director will ensure program funding applications and acquittal reports are completed on time with a high rate of success.
The Executive Director will have the capacity to nurture and maintain productive working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders in the wider community, including donors, industry and government. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills built through experience are highly desirable.
