The Department of Human Services is seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join the annual leave backfill pool for Supported Independent Living (SIL) Area Managers.
* Achieve leadership excellence in a dynamic environment.
* Gain experience managing a large workforce, overseeing approximately 200 staff members.
* Support 70-80 people with disabilities under the NDIS framework, driving positive change and improving their lives.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service to participants of the NDIS and other key stakeholders.
* Develop and implement comprehensive capacity building support and development strategies for individuals with a disability within a designated region.
* Design and deploy responsive service structures and programs for the coordination of SIL services, promoting effective delivery.
* Craft high-quality plans for developing and maintaining integrated accommodation options and lifestyles.
* Lead, supervise, manage performance, and effectively deploy staff resources.
Essential Requirements
* National Police Check required.
* Employment-related Screening Check required.
* Some out-of-hours work may be necessary.
* Interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
* A valid Australian-issued driver's license (equivalent to minimum class C) is mandatory.
