About Us
Based in Rydalmere, this locally based wholesale manufacturer is a key supplier to the retail market and manufactures a variety of internal and external window covering products.
The successful candidate's main duties will be to cut fabric from a cutting table machine, processing a variety of fabrics that will then be made into blinds or curtains by the production team. This role requires ensuring all deadlines and production expectations are met and is an ongoing casual role working Monday to Friday, 38-hour week, with a transition to full-time employment after a successful 4-month trial.
Hours of Operation
Monday to Thursday 5am – 1.30pm
Friday 5am – *****am
Tasks & Responsibilities
Set, cut and operate a cutting table machine
Monitor, inspect and quality-control fabrics
Work to production schedules to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
Communicate and work with co-workers effectively
Qualifications & Experience
Some heavy lifting of rolls of fabrics
Handle a variety of fabrics and work to set deadlines
Excellent eye for detail with a focus on quality
Ability to work unsupervised and communicate clearly
It is highly regarded if you have a background as a machine operator, sewer, upholsterer, embroider, over-locker operator, or process worker within a manufacturing environment.
