About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant / Labourer to join our team at Papworth Heating and Cooling atf Knights Heating and Cooling in McLaren Vale, SA. This is a Contractors position that will involve assisting our skilled tradespeople with a variety of tasks. If you're looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience in the heating and cooling industry, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you'll be doing
Assist in the installations of wood heaters and flue systems, air conditioning systems
Preparing work sites by clearing debris and cleaning up after jobs
Operating power tools and equipment under the supervision of qualified tradespeople
Ensuring work areas are safe and tidy at all times
Completing any other tasks as directed by your team leaders
What we're looking for
A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
Basic hand tools and construction experience preferred
Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items (wood heaters, air con units)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
