Job Title: Traffic Coordinator
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing the safe flow of vehicles, machinery and pedestrians around active work sites. They will need to monitor site safety and communicate with the site team.
* Direct traffic using stop/slow baton
* Set up and pack down traffic management signs and equipment
* Monitor site safety and communicate with the site team
* Assist with general laboring when required
* Follow strict safety protocols at all times
What You Need
* Hold valid certifications in Traffic Controller - Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads (TC1) and Traffic Controller - High Volume Roads (TC2)
* Have a current White Card
* Hold a Driver's licence + have reliable transport
* Be able to work in all weather conditions
* Have strong communication skills and safety awareness
* Be reliable and have a positive attitude
Desirable
* Have experience working in civil or construction environments
* Hold additional relevant tickets (e.g. First Aid, HR licence, plant tickets)
