The Role:
We are currently looking for hospitality workers to work at Wearne House, our residential facility in Mandurah, assisting with cleaning & laundry responsibilities.
This role is offered on a casual basis.
Minimum 3 weekdays and 1 weekend availability is required.
Key responsibilities:
- Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
- Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values
- Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
- Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilizing appropriate channels for assistance guidance and concerns
- Responds to emergency cleaning requirements as directed
About you
As a Hospitality (Cleaning & Laundry) Service worker you will be responsible for managing cleaning and laundry routines in line with the schedule.
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
- Experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a cleaner in an aged care/hospital environment
