About the MADEC :
MADEC is a not for profit, community organisation. Recognised as a Public Benevolent Institution since 2014, we have been providing disability and youth supports in the Mackay region since 1973. We are a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Provider in Mackay and a trusted provider of independence to those in need.
About the Role :
As the NDIS Service Manager, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership to our Service Coordinators and frontline teams. Your mission: to ensure service continuity, consistency, and excellence in client outcomes across a range of supports, including:
* Supported Independent Living (SIL)
* Community Access
* Short and Medium Term Accommodation
the NDIS Service Manager will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety, working closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, innovation, and workforce wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Delivery & Compliance : Ensure all services meet legislative, regulatory, and quality standards. Lead audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Risk Management & Planning : Apply proactive risk management strategies and lead service intake and referral assessments.
* Leadership & Workforce Development : Mentor and support Service Coordinators and Team Leaders. Oversee rostering and workforce planning to ensure sustainable, high-quality care.
* Practice Leadership : Champion the Person-Centred Active Support (PCAS) model and engage directly with clients and stakeholders to evaluate and enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Bring :
* Proven leadership experience in disability or community services
* Strong knowledge of NDIS frameworks, compliance, and quality standards
* Exceptional communication, coaching, and team-building skills
* A passion for person-centred care and continuous improvement

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualifications: Min. Diploma Qualification in Community Services (or equivalent) and Management & Leadership. 🎓
• Licenses: A valid Queensland Driver’s License. 🚗
• Screening: Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and/or ability to attain LCS2. ✅
• Experience: Min 3 years experience in NDIS Leadership & Management and or in equivalent role.
• Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting people with a disability and leading a positive team culture. ❤️
