Automotive Service Professional
The Automotive Service Professional plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team.
This key position involves learning and developing foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles.
* Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance services, such as changing oil and inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems.
* Tire maintenance and part installation are also critical components of the job.
* Road testing vehicles is an essential aspect of ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities also include:
* Changing oil and performing other scheduled maintenance services.
* Performing inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
* Installing batteries and checking electrical systems.
* Performing tire maintenance.
* Installing parts.
* Road testing vehicles.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess basic mechanical aptitude and have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
* Able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
* Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
* Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including:
o Oil changes
o Basic inspections
o Repairing tires
o Reading, writing, and math skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
* A.S.E certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
