A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking Multiple Windows System Administrators and Multiple Senior VDI System Administrators to support a major national initiative focused on delivering high-quality data analysis, performance monitoring, and infrastructure support. These critical roles contribute to expanding and managing complex ICT systems, network services, and secure mobility solutions for senior government officials. The successful candidates will be engaged on an initial 12-month contract, with a further 2 x 12-month extension, and flexible hybrid work arrangements across multiple states.
The successful Windows System Administrators and Senior VDI System Administrators will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Providing technical expertise in building, deploying, and managing virtual desktop SOEs (Scripting, Batch, PowerShell)
* Proficient in Microsoft Configuration Manager for application packaging and deployment
* Administering secured End User Computing Environment (Active Directory Management, Group Policy)
* Updating environment with software upgrades (patching security updates – essential eight, usage reports)
The successful Windows System Administrators and Senior VDI System Administrators will have experience in the following:
* Demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM)
* Experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting
* Experience in VMware EUC and Citrix Cloud technologies (Senior VDI roles)
* Proficiency in deployment and imaging technology troubleshooting
* Ability to obtain Positive Vetting security clearance
