A senior HR Business Partner is required for a 3–6 month contract supporting a PE‑backed organisation undergoing significant transformation including a new ERP and HRIS across Australia and New Zealand. This is a senior, influential role partnering closely with executive leaders and managers across the business to drive engagement, performance, culture and capability across a diverse workforce and offers 2 days work from home per week. Key responsibilities Provide trusted, practical advice on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conduct issues, complaints and investigations, ensuring outcomes are fair, compliant and handled with discretion. Lead the delivery of strategic people initiatives across the business, including organisational design, workforce planning and manager capability uplift. Work closely with leaders to embed fit‑for‑purpose people processes and support well‑managed change. Partner with leaders to strengthen engagement and reinforce company values, driving initiatives that positively influence culture and employee experience. Work alongside leaders on recruitment activities, contributing to selection decisions and ensuring onboarding and induction processes enable strong early outcomes for new starters. Drive talent and succession planning processes in partnership with the business, helping leaders identify future capability needs and development opportunities. Support the full performance and development cycle, including goal setting, review processes and development conversations. Assist with remuneration activities such as annual salary reviews, market benchmarking and short‑term incentive programs. Contribute to the broader people strategy through involvement in key programs, projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop, review and maintain people policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and alignment to business needs. Partner closely with safety leadership to support a strong wellbeing and safety culture and ensure people practices align with legislative requirements. About you You are a commercially minded, credible HR leader who enjoys working closely with the business and influencing outcomes at a senior level.
