Are you an experienced Spray Painter with a passion for automotive work? Pilbara Motor Group, trading as Perth Motor Bodies, is seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Welshpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a family-run business with over 20 years of success in the automotive industry.
About Pilbara Motor Group:
Pilbara Motor Group is a family-owned business that began in Port Hedland and has since expanded to locations across the Pilbara region, representing top brands like Toyota and Isuzu Ute. We now employ over 200 local people and are proud of our long-standing commitment to our community.
Supporting our dealerships in Perth is our operation, Perth Motor Bodies, which includes a pre-delivery workshop, fabrication workshop, paint shop, and corporate office.
Responsibilities
* As an Automotive Spray Painter, you will:
* Paint steel trays, alloy components, and modules
* Prepare surfaces by sanding, prepping, and priming
* Occasionally work on vehicle spray painting projects
* Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Qualifications
* Has automotive or industrial/commercial painting experience (preferred)
* Painting qualification is desirable but not essential—experience will be highly regarded
* Possesses the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Is highly motivated and enjoys working as part of a team
* Is honest, hardworking, and reliable
