Role Overview
As a Bartender at Tulum, you will craft premium beverages, support the restaurant's overall service flow, and enhance the guest experience through warm, attentive hospitality.
You will work closely with the FOH team to maintain smooth operations and uphold Tulum's high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency
Create and follow recipes for signature cocktails inspired by Tulum's menu
Provide thoughtful drink recommendations and pairings to guests
Maintain a clean, polished, and well-organised bar environment
Restock ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout service
Process payments and POS transactions accurately
Collaborate with floor staff to ensure seamless communication during service
Comply with RSA requirements and ensure responsible service at all times
Assist with opening/closing tasks, stocktakes, and bar preparation
Requirements
Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or upscale dining venue
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine
RSA certification (mandatory)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service periods
Professional presentation and a calm, composed approach under pressure
Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and delivering an elevated guest experience
