An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance team.
About the role
* Assist with preparation of BAS and other ATO compliance reporting
* Tax planning & dealing with key tax issues
* Maintain clients' asset register, adjusting journals and reconciliations
* Month end accounting processes
* Management and financial reporting
* Prepare financial statements, tax returns and other compliance obligations
* Year end accounting processes
* Forecast profitability, cash flow and capital
* Other ad‐hoc finance duties as required
• This position is a fully onsite role (No WFH), allowing you to work closely with the team.
About you
* Must reside in Adelaide, SA
* Tertiary qualification in accounting (or similar)
* Completed, or currently working towards CPA/CA qualification
* Previous experience in a tax role or a role that handled tax management and compliance
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders of all levels
* Aptitude for financial analysis
* Strong technical skills
* A proactive approach and an adaptive, positive "can‐do" attitude
* Excellent data entry and Microsoft Excel skills
