Support Professional Role
This role is designed to provide support services for elderly individuals, helping them maintain independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care activities (showering, dressing, grooming, medication reminders)
* Offer social support and transportation assistance (medical appointments, shopping, outings)
* Provide domestic assistance (light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
* Support clients with mobility issues and equipment use
* Deliver assistance to clients with complex or high-care needs
Essential Skills
* Compassionate and empathetic attitude
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to build trust and rapport with clients
* Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs
Required Qualifications
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Home & Community Care
* Current First Aid & CPR certificates
* Valid National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
* Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
* Smartphone with internet access
