A Position exists to join the team at MPS in Port Hedland as a HVAC Technician in delivering top-notch services across the Port Hedland Region.

Mechanical Project Services (MPS) is a leading national provider of HVAC services, specializing in installation, repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Reporting to the Northwest Manager, your role will play a key role in successfully delivering HVAC services to our clients as well as maintaining our spirit of teamwork and morale that have made MPS the people focused business we are today.

The Candidate we seek will be competent in all areas of the trade and will have Australian Trades recognised qualifications including necessary licenses.

This is a Residential full-time position, with relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

* Client Management: Actively engage with clients.
* Works Coordination: Assist in planning jobs with technicians and subcontractors, ensuring smooth project execution.
* Service Estimating: Carry out site inspections, build scopes and gather pricing to compile and submit service quotations.
* Service Works: Carry out repairs, installation and maintenance to HVAC&R equipment as required.

Requirements

* Qualifications: Australian-recognized HVAC Trade Certificate and relevant licenses, such as a WA Restricted Electrical License.
* Experience: Commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems experience, with leadership and communication skills highly regarded.
* Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and problem‐solving abilities.
* Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HVAC&R systems, including installation, maintenance and repair, paired with a solid understanding of Workplace health and safety principles.
