Wall Line Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Wall Line Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the vertical wall line. This includes assembling and loading wall cassettes, applying finishing touches, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
* Complete pre-start checks on equipment.
* Load/unload materials with proper handling techniques.
* Supervise installation of glazing and external cladding.
* Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors.
* Conduct light maintenance and report issues.
* Manage stock levels and ensure quality control.
* Use digital systems for file transfer, inventory, and WHS management.
* Safe loading of cassettes and equipment.
* Operate workstations as required.
* Perform other duties relevant to factory operations.
Requirements:
* Dedicated to fostering a culture of safety with a proven track record.
* 5+ years of experience in residential construction or prefabricated housing manufacturing in a supervisory role.
* Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.
Benefits:
