The Opportunity
We seek a proactive candidate to join our Personal Injury law team at our Hobart Office. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for personal injury, and who is interested in developing their career at our fast-growing Hobart practice. You will work closely with our Hobart Partner across medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents, workers compensation, public liability, and institutional/historical abuse cases.

Key responsibilities
* Liaising with clients and providing timely advice
* Preparing Court documents and correspondence
* Managing high volume files with supervision
* Attending court, TASCAT, dispute resolutions, and settlements
* Conducting legal research
* Understanding of personal injury matters (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and autonomy
* Ability to maintain client confidentiality
* Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Client relationship and business development skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
