Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering medium-to-complex procurement processes working with a variety of stakeholders and across multiple project teams.
* The ideal candidate will have a diploma in procurement, business, law or related fields and more than ten years' experience in the delivery of procurement services and contract preparation.
* They will also need to have demonstrated experience in working in a local, state or federal government setting and excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
* Delivering medium-to-complex procurement processes;
* Working with a variety of stakeholders and across multiple project teams;
* Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures;
* Preparing contracts and other procurement-related documents;
* Providing training and support to colleagues on procurement procedures.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* A diploma in procurement, business, law or related fields;
* More than ten years' experience in the delivery of procurement services and contract preparation;
* Demonstrated experience in working in a local, state or federal government setting;
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
