About the Role

The Safer Together Program Coordinator is a pivotal role in leading, coordinating, and sustaining quality improvement initiatives across twelve health services within the Hume Local Health Service Network.

As the central liaison between Safer Care Victoria and health services, the Coordinator drives collaboration, supports capability building, and ensures the effective implementation of SCV and STP priority improvement activities.

* Leading Network improvement efforts to ensure consistent program implementation, timely reporting, and engagement with key stakeholders.
* Enabling shared learning, aligning local improvement with state priorities, and promoting safer, more effective care across the Hume Network.

The Coordinator also oversees the Hume Network Safety and Quality committee, identifying opportunities to address clinical quality and safety risks, and strengthening systems that promote high-quality, safe, person-centred care across the Hume Network.



Required Skills and Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in a field related to health administration, medicine, nursing, midwifery, paramedic, pharmacist or allied health.

Experience with establishing and managing new and innovative programs of work, including business planning, performance standards, and strategies.

Ability to develop complex solutions for sensitive issues, requiring advanced problem-solving skills.
