Overview
Assistant Service Manager – a frontline leadership role supporting the Service Manager and Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow, exceptional customer experiences and strong operational performance in a premium brand environment.
Responsibilities
* Support the Service Manager with the day‐to‐day running of the service department
* Act as a key point of contact for Service Advisors, providing guidance, support and escalation management
* Assist with service flow control, vehicle scheduling and workload prioritisation
* Help manage customer issues and escalations, ensuring timely and professional resolution
* Support consistent service standards, quality control and delivery timeframes
* Assist with staff coverage, peak period coordination and operational stability
* Contribute to achieving productivity and financial targets
Qualifications
* Experience in an automotive service environment
* Strong understanding of service operations and customer service processes
* Confident communicator who can support, coach and influence Service Advisors
* Calm under pressure with a practical, solutions‐focused mindset
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills
* A hands‐on leader who enjoys being visible and involved on the floor
