Your Training Pathway:

Key Responsibilities on the Job:
* Inspect, repair, and maintain rail wagons, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
* Perform scheduled servicing, component replacement, and modifications as required
* Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on wagon components, including brakes, couplings, and suspension systems
* Safely communicate using radios in a rail environment
* Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
* Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment
* Shunting experience is desirable but not essential.
What We Are Looking For:
* A safety-focused and reliable individual.
* Someone who is calm, attentive, and able to follow procedures.
* A clear communicator who works well in a small team or independently.
* Willing to work shifts in all weather conditions.
Requirements:
* Ability to pass a Category 1 rail medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
* Full HR driver licence or willing to obtain
* Forklift Ticket or willing to obtain.
* HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or willingness to obtain.
* Basic computer skills and sound literacy and numeracy.
* Right to work in Australia.
* White Card
* Provide a Police Check with no court disclosable outcomes.
