Overview
As our Debt Management Officer, you'll be the main point of contact for all debt-related enquiries, guiding community members toward workable repayment solutions and coordinating the debt recovery process with confidence and professionalism.
Cessnock, New South Wales — Full-time
Responsibilities
* Manage debt and revenue enquiries across phone, email and face-to-face interactions
* Build respectful relationships with debtors
* Negotiate and monitor repayment plans through to completion
* Coordinate follow-ups and collection activities, including working with Debt Recovery Agents when legal action is required
* Contribute to positive community outcomes while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Credit Management, Financial Services, or a relevant qualification
* Relevant experience in managing debt recovery and customer resolution
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex information to a range of stakeholders
* Experience negotiating outcomes and resolving issues in challenging or sensitive situations
Remuneration
$81,605 - $94,490 per annum plus superannuation
