About the Role
We are seeking experienced Blast & Paint Supervisors to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia's largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you'll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long‐term career opportunities within a well‐established national contractor.
As a Blast & Paint Supervisor you will be responsible for:
* Supervising works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specifications
* Leading a team of trade and non‐trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
* Liaising with Linkforce clients and site‐based personnel
* Planning and scheduling work and labour requirements
* Monitoring progress against the work schedule
* Record and monitor team members performance, provide mentorship and address issues where necessary
* Incident investigation and reporting
* Supervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC)
* Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures
What You'll Need
* Minimum of 2 years leadership experience as Leading Hand or Supervisor
* Certificate 3 in surface preparation and finishing
* Coatings inspector NACE level 1 – (Desirable but not mandatory)
* Familiar with abrasive blasting and painting QA/QC process.
* Schedule 26 training
* BHP & Rio inductions are desirable but not essential.
* A strong commitment to health and safety
* Construction White Card
* A National Police Check
