Reporting to the HR Manager, this fantastic Community Services organisation based in the South Eastern Suburbs, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for an ongoing 0.6-0.8 role.
This is a varied role accountable for the payroll function, including the timely and accurate processing, reconciliation and payment of fortnightly payroll, superannuation, employment-related taxation, and salary packaging for all staff and supported employees.
Due to an internal change within the business, they require an individual on a part-time basis

***9 am-2 pm or standard hours, either hybrid or in-office,
***allowing for school drop-offs and pickups to assist with work-life balance.
**The Role**:
- Requires experience with Payroll systems (Ideally Employment Hero)
- Is responsible for fortnightly payroll for up to 250 individuals
- Administration for payroll but also general HR admin to ensure all data and details are current
- Support senior executives with their day-to-day operations including an ability to anticipate needs
- Participate in and manage payroll, HR and OH&S audit requirements where required
**To be successful in the role**:
- Requires experience with Payroll Systems, ideally Employment Hero or similar single-touch payroll systems
- Will be proactive and show initiative for all tasks and is comfortable working with mínimal supervision
- Is knowledgeable of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation
- Comprehensive understanding of Modern Awards for the industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
