THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Security Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible in ensuring a safe and secure corporate and public environment. This will include upholding and administering compliance, security applications and accesses, safety, emergency response and customer service.

Day To Day
Work on a 4 days on / 4 days off, 12-hour rotating roster, including both day and night shifts.
Monitor all aspects of race day sales operations to ensure adherence to all set rules, policies and procedures of the Club and compliance with applicable regulatory standards dictated by OLGR, Council, NSW Police and government bodies.
Administer the employee and contractor OHS induction process.
Ensure a safe and secure corporate and public environment by patrolling racecourses on foot and by vehicle maintaining a visible presence at all times.
Investigate and inspect hazards and incidents as required, completing the required reports outlined by the Security Manager.
Respond immediately to alarm activations, emergency requests and identified hazards.
Actively participate in emergency response drills and actual events, ensuring procedure is always followed in accordance with the communicated instructions and practiced training program.
Work collaboratively with other departments across the organisation to share knowledge about venue security activities.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
THE RIGHT FIT
To be successful in the role, the right person will display:
Previous security experience,
NSW Security Licence 1ACE,
Drivers Licence,
Current First Aid certificate,
Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate,
Computer and reporting skill,
Traffic controller experience is desirable.
