About the Role
The SAP Basis Consultant will be responsible for operating and maintaining a complex SAP environment, including S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SRM, PO, GRC, Solution Manager, BOBI, BODS, IDM, OpenText xECM, OpenText Archive Server, and OpenText VIM. This involves performing system administration tasks such as OS, database, and application patching, system refreshes and client copies, performance tuning and troubleshooting, implementing standard changes, and ensuring the environment remains current and compliant.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, with proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes with multiple integrated components. Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, transport management, and system upgrades is required. Experience with HA/DR setup and support is also essential.
Additionally, familiarity with OpenText integrations and SAP security concepts is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team are necessary. Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders are also required.
