Our client is a globally recognised consumer goods organisation specialising in the sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of premium household products. Their customer base includes major national retailers across the home, hardware, and e-commerce sectors.
The Role
Due to an upcoming parental leave, the business is seeking a Financial Accountant/ Analyst to join its collaborative finance team on a temp to fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance, this role will take ownership of month-end processes, tax compliance, and financial analysis. You'll play a key part in delivering insights that drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency across the organisation.
* Manage month-end closing and reporting processes
* Oversee tax compliance and statutory lodgements
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
* Partner with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
* Support the finance function within a small, collaborative team environment
Your Profile
* CA/CPA qualified preferred
* Advanced Excel skills (testing will be conducted during the recruitment process)
* Strong systems experience, ideally with Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, or Microsoft 365
* Background in distribution or manufacturing highly regarded
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
