Leading retail business is seeking Lean & Process Improvement Specialist who is responsible for delivering sustainable value and leading end to end process diagnostics across the business, which will include finding ways to optimise and uplift process capability and providing a roadmap for continuous improvement and workforce development.
**Key objectives to achieve as part of role but not limited to are**:
- Define business problems and design and implement new operating models, including people, process, and technology.
- Conduct detailed assessment of performance improvement opportunities aligned to deliver real transformation and automation.
- Identify and add value to processes or redesign the way that we operate.
- Support the delivery of transformation projects within a specified time frame and drive the implementation of the opportunities to achieve improved systems, processes, procedures and best practices.
- Challenge current ways of working and review our End-to-End retail operational processes,including online fulfillment, supply chain, merchandise planning and store operations.
- Working closely and collaborating with other Process Specialists and SMEs to cross pollinate on process findings and help build COE program at Group level serving as a benchmark for achievements, providing a common roadmap for continuous improvement and workforce development.
- Support the development of a project pipeline (3-5 years) contributing to the bottom line business benefits Provide understanding and insights into business transformation, process and organisational design and change management and present findings to the steering committee at a senior management level, develop and manage regular progress status reports.
- Proven experience as a Process Improvement Specialist with a record of practising and implementing significant changes delivering quantified results
- Thought leadership driving culture changes in an Operational environment, ideally Supply Chain experience
- Will ideally have Green Belt certificate in Lean Six Sigma from a well-recognised institution
- Demonstrated experience using leading related change methodologies and management disciplines (e.g. Customer Journey Mapping, ISO, TQM and/or similar)
- Project Management Skills, PMP or Prince 2 certification will be a plus
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
