A well‐regarded litigation practice with a strong presence across the Gold Coast and Brisbane is expanding its estate litigation team. With steady workflow, high‐quality matters, and a genuinely supportive culture, the firm is now seeking both an Estate Litigation Lawyer and an experienced Estate Litigation Paralegal.
You'll step into a busy estate litigation practice working across family provision claims, contested wills, trust disputes, capacity matters, and complex estate administration issues. Strong mentoring, autonomy, and exposure to sophisticated matters are all part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own estate litigation files with senior support
* Draft pleadings, affidavits, advice, and correspondence
* Attend mediations, negotiations, and court work aligned to your level
* Work closely with a collaborative litigation team across two offices
Estate Litigation Lawyer – Qualifications
* 3–5 years PAE in litigation (estate litigation experience highly regarded)
* Strong drafting and analytical skills
* Confidence engaging with clients and managing files
You'll work alongside senior estate litigation specialists and support the broader litigation team. This role offers minimal non‐billable work and a clear expectation of six billable hours per day.
Estate Litigation Paralegal – Qualifications
* 3+ years litigation paralegal experience (estate litigation preferred)
* Strong understanding of court processes and procedure
* Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
* Minimal non‐billables for the paralegal role
* Clear expectations and structured workflows
* Supportive, well‐resourced team
* Genuine career development and long‐term stability
What you'll do
* Draft court documents, affidavits, briefs, and correspondence
* Manage discovery, subpoenas, and evidence preparation
* Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and court registries
* Coordinate deadlines, timelines, and workflow
