**The Opportunity**
The Partnership Business Development Executive will be responsible for significantly increasing revenues while managing a portfolio of partners of different kinds (POS partners, Channel partners, referral partners, ISO, Payfacs, technology platforms and more). (S)he will design and execute proper strategy to maximize merchants acquisitions and revenues through these partnerships with a particular focus on POS. (S)he will report to the jv Head of Partnerships.
The JV is looking to expand the acquiring business to support companies with new business models that don't fit the current rigid merchant acquiring model, creativity in thinking about how new partners can grow their own POS businesses and merchant acquisition whilst leveraging the ANZ Worldline stack is key to success.
There will be complex contract negotiations and opportunity to recommend improvements to processes ad operations for the greater good of the partnerships team so critical thought and a challenging status quo mindset is required.
**Your responsibilities include**
- Developing a pipeline of referral enabler partnerships in the POS (In Store) ecosystem
- Planning and strategizing the go-to-market sales plan for POS enablement into the partnerships ecosystem at ANZ Worldline Payments Solutions
- Manage both the partner & the business (JV) requirements & expectations
- Create & maintain key partners plans to support revenue & growth aspirations
- Manage the partner retention, to include proposal & any RFP responses
- Provision of timely & accurate forecasting and sensitivity analysis when refining commercials
- Provide input to the line Manager for weekly / monthly reporting purposes e.g. financial figures etc
- To act as the main day to day point of oversight, supervision and coordination of activities relating to their designated portfolio customers by organizing resources to achieve optimum Partner satisfaction through effective tracking and resolution of issues, requests, complaints, and service failure incidents
- Engaging Partners, involving other jv stakeholders in a cohesive and ongoing dialogue relating to sales opportunities, customer relationship management, progress/status & performance reports and operational issues resolution.
- Acting as the point for issue escalation within the Customer Services teams, responsible for issues assessment, identification of resolution options, impact evaluation, management information, tracking and resolution.
- Liaising within Worldline staff & colleagues to ensure Partners commitments are achieved on time, to agreed standards and to the Partners' expectations.
- Compiling management reports relating to Partners engagement, value and relationship progress using appropriate reporting systems
**Experience**
- Prior experience in the payments industry is preferred
- Strong Sales orientation and capacity to hunt and build solid customer relationships
- Results-oriented
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and interpersonal skills
- 10+ years proven new business sales track record in a quota carrying B2B sales role
- B2B consultative sales experience is required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Ability to work on own with limited supervision
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Exposure or familiarity with technological and financial concepts
- Salesforce and Miller Heiman experience beneficial
- English native or business fluent.
