We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Nurse Director to provide strategic leadership and ensure the effective operational management of our nursing services at Fremantle Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to shape clinical standards, drive innovation, and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Role Summary
The Nurse Director (Fremantle Hospital) leads strategic programmes consistent with the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital (FSFHG) Nursing and Midwifery Executive Council (NMEC) objectives and provides advanced coordination, integration and strategic direction to optimise nursing professional practice and service delivery. The role will support coordinated service delivery across all Service Directorates at the Fremantle Hospital site. Under the direction of the FSFHG Director of Nursing & Midwifery and in collaboration with the Service Nurse Director Team, the role contributes to the development and implementation of the Hospital and Health Service goals, objectives, nursing policies, practice and standards, and communicates these in a positive and effective way. The Nurse Director is accountable for designing and driving programmes to support and deliver evidence based professional practice, grow leadership capacity and meet safety and quality outcomes for the Fremantle Hospital Nursing Workforce aligned across sites.
