Psychologist (Child & Adolescent) – Strength Psychology Clinic

Strength Psychology is a thriving child and adolescent focused clinic in Geelong. We are looking for a full time, bilingual (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese) registered child and adolescent psychologist in the Greater Geelong area. Australian citizens or permanent residents are preferred. Overseas practice experience also preferred. Responsibilities of the Role:
- Carry out thorough evidence-based psychological assessments to understand the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning of children and adolescents.
- Design and deliver evidence-based, personalised treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs.
- Deliver psychological interventions using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), client-centred therapy, and play-based therapy.
- Monitor client progress, review outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including case notes and professional psychological reports in line with AHPRA ethical standards.
- Collaborate with medical practitioners, schools, families, and allied health professionals, and build referral networks to support coordinated care.

The Opportunity

You’re a Great Fit If You Are:
Registered with AHPRA (General registration).
Experienced (minimum 2 years), bilingual (Spanish, Chinese or Vietnamese preferred) and ideally endorsed with supervisor status.
