About Cleaning Services

The NSW Government's reforms to public sector cleaning services entail the NSW Department of Education taking over management of the state's Whole-of-Government cleaning contracts from January 1, 2026.

A team has been established to deliver an enhanced Whole-of-Government cleaning contract for alignment and delivery of all program streams. Including Governance, ITD, Recruitment and Risk Management.

About the role

As a Cleaning Services Support Inspector, you will work alongside Inspectors to conduct site inspections, capture information, and record performance results against cleaning standards. You will be involved in maintaining inspection schedules, track follow-up actions, and support accurate reporting through digital systems and databases.

This role offers variety, purpose, and the chance to make a visible difference in the quality of cleaning services that support WoG cleaning contract clients, students and all government staff every day.
