Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and reviewing mechanical standards, engineering practices, and procedures for the life cycle of mechanical plant and installations at our mine site. You will supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of mechanical plant and be responsible for leading a small team of Mechanical Engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Mechanical Engineer Certificate of Competence (surface coal) is a pre-requisite for this role.
* You must have extensive experience in mining maintenance management systems, policies, and procedures with a proven record of accomplishment in demonstrating strong systems focus and strategic approach to delivering positive outcomes.
* Strong relationship building skills complemented by well-developed interpersonal and influencing abilities are essential for success in this position.
