About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store Assistant to join our parts and consumable stores operations. This is a hands-on role supporting our boat construction team by managing materials, tools, and inventory to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials
* Pick and issue parts, tools, and consumables to production staff
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
* Keep the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
* Assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks as required
Pre‐Employment Requirements
* A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one is required
* Right to work in Australia
* Manual Driver's licence is a must
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or trade support role (preferred)
* Familiarity with boat building, manufacturing, or marine environments (highly regarded)
* Mechanical aptitude
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
* Manual drivers Licence is needed
* Basic computer skills for inventory systems
