About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pharmacist in Charge to join our dedicated team at Jacare family pharmacy in Ipswich, Queensland. As Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and medication management.
What you'll be doing
1. Supervising and leading a team Pharmacy technicians, and support staff
2. Ensuring the pharmacy complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards
3. Providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other healthcare professionals
4. Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing the pharmacy's inventory
5. Collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
6. Implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes to drive continuous improvement
7. Fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development
What we're looking for
1. Fully registered pharmacist with a current AHPRA license
2. Exceptional clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge, with a strong commitment to patient-centred care
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
5. Proficient in using pharmacy management systems and technology
6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
