**The Opportunity**
Tranquility Gardens and Amity Gardens are two retirement living communities in Helensvale and Ashmore. In this rare opportunity, you will spend your day being responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair and groundskeeping tasks around both villages. In this hands-on role, you'll enjoy connecting with residents at both villages, spending time outdoors and working autonomously. No trades experience is required. if you consider yourself 'handy' around the house, this is a perfect opportunity for you!
**This is a fixed-term, part-time position until March 2025. Monday & Friday 7am-12pm at Amity Gardens (Ashmore) and Tuesday-Thursday 9-2pm at Tranquility Gardens (Helensvale)**

**You will**
- You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules (e.g high pressure cleaning, bins, pool checks & cleaning, buggy checks and painting)
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team!
- Please note - this is not a gardening role
**What you will bring**
- Skilled in domestic repair/maintenance tasks (e.g using tools, painting etc.)
- A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
- Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID vaccinations (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
