Engineering Team Lead Position

About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing engineering team, driving efficiency, and quality in maintenance services. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms to adhere to client and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the development and implementation of preventative and planned maintenance programs across all sites.
* Ensure Permit to Work systems are implemented through relevant protocols involving Responsible Persons, Authorized Persons, and Competent Persons.
* Manage Asset and Engineering Management tools to ensure they operate in accordance with client expectations, and maintenance reporting is delivered in the required format.
* Ensure effective scheduling and allocation of preventative maintenance tasks, delivering on strategic objectives.
* Analyze work order data to identify areas of potential concern within the client's portfolio.
Operational Leadership
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. They will also have expertise in lifecycle asset management, British Standards, and facility management.
* Develop and lead training programs for on-site staff, ensuring escalation and service standards are aligned and maintained.
* Collaborate with Site Facility Managers to ensure consistent service delivery across all Teams.
* Contribute to monthly reports for clients covering the scope of maintenance services.
* Work with delivery teams to plan for portfolio delivery, inspection, test, and audit, maintenance/PPM, and incidents.
Key Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in engineering, mechanical management, facility management, or relevant field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering planning and management.
* Proven track record of maintaining high-quality facilities and working closely with Facility Management teams.
